Sustainable and impactful modern art piece created for the lobby of the Indigo Head Office. A hundred and five previously used books were re-imagined, by folding and cutting intricate patterns in the pages, and adding pops of colour to define each letter in the word READ.
Working with my design team, we developed creative concepts incorporating a mix of new and re-purposed artwork to animate the new Indigo office space. Here you can see some of the process behind the work.
To engage the entire Creative department in the process of designing the studio space, we spent the day painting and creating artwork together for the main feature wall in the studio. I provided an inspirational reference and only three parameters to work within; colour palette, the artwork had to be graphic, and consistent in size. Each member of the team interpreted the direction into their own unique piece of art.
Staying true to the Indigo brand with culture makers at its core, illustrations using a single continuous line were created and hand painted on a large scale throughout the office.
